What platform did you use?

Lazada, Shopee, Carousel, are examples of E-commerce platforms that are being utilized here in the Philippines. Amongst the E-commerce platforms, I chose Shopee since it is the leading consumer-to-consumer E-commerce platform in my country. Aside from the reason I cited, I have been using Shopee for almost 4 years and I have never experienced any problems with regards to shipment, product, services, and delivery time. 

What product did you purchase?

The product that I purchased was a Signed Standard Edition Album by Taylor Swift, entitled 'Folklore.' I am an avid fan of Taylor Swift and this was the first album that I purchased that was produced by her. 

What are the payment options? What did you choose and why?

For their payment option, there are various options such as Cash On Delivery, Credit Card, or ShopeePay. I chose Cash on Delivery because it allows me to review the product or take a video of the product while opening it, so that in case of any damages, I can return the product. Moreover, I am hesitant with paying through Credit Card or ShopeePay because I am afraid of being scammed. 

What factors affect your purchasing decision?

The main reason as to why I purchased that album was because it was on sale during that time. Another reason was it was my birthday and it served as my birthday gift from my mother.

How do you assess your experience?

So far, I have not encountered any bad experiences from Shopee because heir services are consistent. With regards to the owner of the shop, I was able to have a conversation with her and asked about a few things about the product which really ease the whole purchasing journey.
