How Web 3.0 differs from Web 2.0? Discuss the prominent features of Web 3.0
Here is the result:
Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 are similar technologies with similar backgrounds; however, these are two generations of the internet and both differ based on how users interact with it. Web 2.0 utilizes user-friendly interfaces and it allows user to read and write various contents. On the other hand, Web 3.0 focuses on the creation of content and the utilization of AI-driven interfaces. Some of the prominent features of Web 3.0 are the following; (1) Semantic Web; (2) Artificial Intelligence (AI); (3) 3D Graphics; (4) Increased Cybersecurity; and (5) Accessibility. Semantic Web refers to the ability of the web to understand and interpret the meaning of the information it hosts. It promotes faster data generation which is beneficial for the user. Furthermore, the integration of Artificial Intelligence made the Web 3.0 the best amongst past versions since AI made our lives easier especially in content generation. 3D Graphics is also another feature that helped many users and content creators visualized the world. 3D Graphics allowed developers to make their softwares more realistic. Moroever, Increase Cybersecurity is another feature that makes Web 3.0 the best. We as users are vigilant when it comes to information breach. We do not want our personal information to be leaked online or be hacked by users with the intent to ruin your reputation or gain access to your personal belongings. Web 3.0 is equipped with various firewalls and security features that avoid the risks of information breach. Lastly, Web 3.0 made information accessible to everyone. Content are made available across various platforms and devices which is beneficial for users like me.
What are the importance of Web 3.0? How will it benefit our lives?
Here is the result:
The development of Web 3.0 is truly remarkable due to its capability of alleviating modern problems and providing entertainment. As a student, Web 3.0 is truly our companion due to the integration of AI. AI helped us to be innovative when it comes to creating projects or school works. AI helped us by educating us about the things that we are unaware of. With one click in the internet, it shows you the relevant information that you need. In a household setting, Web 3.0 provides entertainment due to various contents across various media platforms. The best thing about it is that it aligns perfectly with tour interests, and shows you the list of videos according to your previous history through tour digital footprint. It saves me a lot of time as well as spaeks my interest about various things. Lastly, Web 3.0 gives me the confidence to surf across the web without the fear of information breach. Due to its heightened security, I can explore the internet without worrying of viruses that may disrupt my system or steal my personal information. With this reason, I am now doing online banking and online shopping.
What are the risks and threats of Web 3.0?
Here is the result:
The first risk or threat of Web 3.0 that I can think of is its ability to change our cognitive thinking. When all information are posted online, some users become too complacent. With this reason, we use a percentage of our brain which can really hinder our critical thinking skills which would lead to low cognitive function. Too much complacency is dangerous because it would force us to evolve to live with the internet; therefore, if the internet would just disappear one day, we would find ourselves in a state of confusion since we owe almost everything we do on the internet. That is why we need to practice proper usage of Web 3.0, so we would not abuse it. Web 3.0 should compliment our life, not overtake our life's function.
Second risk or threat of Web 3.0 is it can make human unproductive. For example, before the existence of the internet, people would practice time management, learn new skills, and adapt new hobbies that makes their life happy and interesting. However, with the rise of technology and evolution of the web, people become unproductive by staying at their home rather than going outside and exploring the world. This unproductiveness can be very dangerous because it hinders people to develop new skills and explore hobbies that can be very beneficial for them. With this reason, it can result to various complications such as health-related risks.
Another threat that may rise due to the usage of Web 3.0 in our daily life is the bew and different versions of information breach. With the evolvement of the internet, people ways of scamming people also evolve in order to compensate to new cybersecurity measures. This is a very dangerous threat since these new methods of scamming and phishing are new to us which can make us unaware of it. Therefore, without peoper knowledge, we are still susceptible to newer versions of information theft.
